Local Leadership & Team
Jean Alix Paul
Jean Alix is the president of Together for Haiti, an organization that has started 10 churches, 4 schools, and 3 children’s homes, including Ferrier Village. He is also a successful businessman and community leader throughout Haiti. Jean Alix, alongside our other local partners, passionately believes that restorative community care is critical because it is essential for us to live to help others live. It is vital to help others help themselves and keep families together. He believes it is important to make sure the families have everything they need to take care of themselves so that even in the middle of difficult situations, the families can stay together and flourish.
Jean St. Cyr
Pastor St. Cyr is the pastor of Eglise Baptiste Compasion de Christ and the headmaster of Aclaprotech Academy. Both were birthed out of JP1, a tent city that at one time held over 60,000 people who had been displaced by the earthquake. We are currently partnering with St Cyr in Delmas to empower and resource the teachers of Aclaprotech Academy.

Initiatives
Education
Our education programs in Haiti provide a strong foundation for children and young adults, including a high school, elementary school, preschool, and early learning center in 5 communities throughout the country. We also support students beyond graduation through our college transition and vocational training program, equipping them with the skills and resources needed to succeed in higher education and beyond.
Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is another key pillar of our work. Our Family Business Program empowers families to achieve financial independence by equipping them with the tools and training to launch and sustain their own businesses. To date, we have empowered 190 families in the Ferrier community of Haiti. By investing in both economic and personal development, we are helping build a stronger, self-sufficient community for generations to come.
Restorative Community Care
Our Community Care initiatives in Haiti ensure children and families have access to safety, restoration, and essential resources. At the heart of this work is Ferrier Village, a refuge providing 24/7 care for children rescued from or at high risk of trafficking. Surrounding programs strengthen many Haitian communities through agriculture, which provides food and income; a clean water project serving nearby families; emergency relief during crises; and church planting and pastor empowerment that foster hope and lasting transformation.
