Help One Now began when Chris Marlow first met Pastor John in 2007, and they dreamed together about how to best serve families and transform communities. Almost 20 years later, that dream has grown across 8 countries and served over 60,000 individuals each year with life-changing resources.
We want to celebrate those beginnings and all that has been done since together, and we want you to join us. With complications in Pastor John’s health, we realize that this may be the only time we can gather together in Zimbabwe to celebrate and dream about what we can accomplish in the next 20 years together.

$1,100 (In-country Costs Only)
Some costs, such as flights, are subject to change at the time of booking. The total cost of your trip covers all travel expenses, including lodging, meals, transportation, medical insurance, and your Victoria Falls visit. The only things not covered by this cost are personal money for souvenirs and any extra expenses while on the trip.
This cost also covers Help One Now’s expenses in administering and leading this trip and investing in our local partners’ work as they take time out to host and care for us on our journey!

Sunday 1/3 - Arrival day
Monday 1/4 - Intro to trip, time with the Chinyowa family, visit Musha We Vana children’s home
Tuesday 1/5 - Visit empowered families and the Tariro Vocational Center, Celebration ceremony for the Chinyowas
Wednesday 1/6 - Fun activity day with the Chinyowas, evening prayer service at Family Praise Fellowship
Thursday 1/7 - (Optional) Travel to Victoria Falls, see the falls and stay at a safari lodge
Friday 1/8 - Full-day safari
Saturday 1/9 - Begin travel home
Sunday 1/10 - Arrive home
Where
Marondera, Zimbabwe
This trip will be focused on spending time with the Chinyowas, seeing the impact of your generosity in Zimbabwe, celebrating the life and legacy of John and Orpah, and seeing some of the beauty of Zimbabwe together. We will get to spend time at Musha We Vana children’s home, Tariro Vocational Training Center, and visit with empowered families in the community.
We will spend the majority of our time in the Marondera community and will have the option to end our trip by seeing one of the natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls. While at the falls, we will stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, where we will also have the opportunity to see some of the local wildlife.
